How fantastic is this! It's a jewelry box and floor mirror all in one. GENIUS! Now to find the space for it.

I love watching makeup tutorials from Holly Ann-AeRee. Here's a simple smokey eye makeup tutorial she did using Maybelline eyeshadow.
I'm excited for the new Twilight movie but not this excited.

Hourglass Fortune LOTD and Review
This Summer, Hourglass Cosmetics is adding Fortune, a metallic pink gold shade to their ever popular Extreme Sheen Lip Gloss collection, and I was lucky enough to score a tube to review.
Quick take: Does as promised on the packaging. Not the cheapest but it makes up for it in quality. Not a fan of lipglosses that smell like food. B+
Product Claims
*Laminactine™ deeply penetrates, reinforcing fragile tissues damaged by excessive sun exposure while enhancing collagen and elastin production to smooth fine lines and form definition.
*Provides intense hydration to keep lips from cracking or chapping.
*Treated with super-antioxidant vitamin E to nurture and shelter lips from damaging environmental elements.
*Wears alone or layers over lipstick and liner to impart instant shine.
*Paraben-, sulfate-, synthetic-dye, and phthalate-free.
Fortune looks gorgeous in the tube. It applies as a warm metallic golden pink.
Side note: man it's so weird looking at my lips up close and personal! I was going to post a full face picture but I had a pretty bad allergic reaction to an SPF lotion I was testing out. Boo to octinoxate!
Sunlight
Flash
No lippie= SCARY!
What I liked:
*It felt very smooth on my lips with no tackiness.
*Thin but opaque application.
*Super shiny and gorgeous color!
*Did not settle into lines.
*Moisturizing on the lips.
*It wears about 4 hours before I feel I need to reapply it.
No likey:
*The price, but any good gloss is going to set you back (hello Chanel!)
*Smells like cake frosting. I don't like glosses that smell like food, however many people do. The smell faded after a little while.
Available May 2010 at Sephora and Barneys New York ($28)
Disclosure: I was provided a sample of the product by PR. I was not paid to do this review. My commitment is to my readers, and I will remain truthful to you.

MAC Pret-a-Papier Quick Review and FOTD
If I buy stuff, I gotta use it right? This is a quick FOTD using the 4 items I bought from the MAC Pret-a-Papier collection. What I love about this collection is the wearability of it. Wearability equals value to moi! Wearability also means a pretty tame FOTD as well ;-)
Click on the pics to make them bigger aka scarier.
Face
Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation #02 Sand
MAC MSF Natural Light Medium
YSL Touche Eclat #2
MAC Instant Chic Blush
MAC Shell Pearl Beauty Powder
Eyes (All MAC unless noted)
Chromagraphic Pencil NC15/NW20 (waterline)
Vanilla (highlight)
Tissue Weight (lid)
Gazette Grey (crease and outer V)
Mulch (outer V)
Charcoal Brown (brows)
Urban Decay PP Eden
Diorshow Iconic Mascara
Make Up For Ever Star Black 1L Eyeliner
Lips
MAC Nude Rose
Tissue Weight is a pinker version of Naked Lunch. It really just blends in with my skin tone. If you have Naked Lunch, I'd go ahead and skip this eyeshadow. Gazette Grey is also not a must have but it's a nice neutral color to put in the crease. I read that this shadow didn't blend easily but that's not the case. Using a MAC 224 brush you can get this sucker blended. I can see this being used to compliment or blend out a purple eyeshadow such as Memorabilia.
This picture shows the chromagraphic pencil on the waterline. I love how less harsh it looks than if I'd used white on the waterline. It also lasts the entire day! This is my favorite product in this collection. You can also use this pencil to conceal and define. I'm definitely getting a backup of this since I've been using this pencil everyday since I bought it.
Instant Chic blush is pretty in the pan and pretty on the face. It's not a must have blush but if you need a corally blush then get it. It's a sheertone but definitely well pigmented.
I think I need to go back and get Memorabilia. It's so pigmented and pretty but I have a zillion purple eyeshadows. What did you get from this collection? Let me know in the comments!

MAC Pret-a-Papier Haul
I hauled a few things from the MAC Pret-a-Papier collection and to tell you the truth, I was really surprised I liked this collection as much as I did. I was boo hooing the promos for this, but in person this collection is gorgeous! There's just so much more value in a collection of wearable colors. I posted swatches here of this collection.
Here’s what I got from this collection plus a couple other things. As always, click on the photos for full size.
Blush- Instant Chic, Chromagraphic Pencil NC15/NW20, Eyeshadow left to right: Tissue Weight, Gazette Grey
Chromagraphic Pencil close up
I also bought a new pro palette (gotta start depotting....), MSF Natural in Light Medium, Eyeshadow left to right: Charcoal Brown, Naked Lunch, Vanilla
Tissue Weight next to Naked Lunch for comparison. Tissue Weight is more pinker/corally.

Friday Favorites
Helloooooooo Friday! This past week I finally gave in and got an iPhone. Hello, where have you been my whole life? I also had to take one of my kitties to the vet. Dylan has forgotten what a litter box is. So what's the diagnosis from the vet? Yeah, he's healthy with bad habits... Silly cat. Makes me glad I turned my gold in for cats ;-) hehe that website cracks me up every time.
Please show me some love and subscribe to my blog via the RSS feed, Bloglovin’, Feedburner, or through email! All ways to subscribe are on the top righthand side of the screen. Hope you have a great weekend! xoxo
Upcoming on Pretty as Peaches- look out for my first giveaway next week. I also added my twitter account to this blog. You can follow me on Twitter at @prettypeachblog.
On to my Friday Favorites!
One of my favorite websites, College Fashion, posted what to wear to an amusement park. Stop making me wish it was summer, dangit.
Mmm Lady Gaga cookies... Nom! Check out the entire set here.
Hunt fail...
Have a great weekend my little peachykins!

MAC Pret-a-Papier Swatches
MAC's Pret-a-Papier launched today! Of course I hauled butt over to MAC and swatched just about everything. I forgot how big this collection was. As always, click on the photo for full size. Swatched on NW2o skin.
Eyeshadow left to right: Naked Lunch (for comparison), Tissue Weight, Gazette Grey, Memorabilia, Cut to Fit
Chromographic Pencils on the far left - top NW25/NC30, bottom NC15/NW20
Paint pots left to right: Coral Crepe, Groundwork
Lipstick left to right: Kraft, Dressmaker Dressmaker, Archetype, Made to Order
Lipglass left to right: Fold and Tuck, C-Thru
Blush: Instant Chic (sooooooo gorgeous!)
I'll share my haul in another post. A definite stand out in this collection was the Instant Chic blush and the Chromographic Pencils. I'm betting those sell out first. What did you or are planning to haul from this collection? Let me know in the comments!

MAC Superglass 2010 Summer
I was excited for this collection but then word on the street (Specktra) is that the new superglasses are like gritty sandpaper. I won't let this stop me for partaking in their glittery goodness. I mean, the glitter is fiber right? Fiber is needed in your diet. Mmmm glitter nom nom nom. Do you like your gloss all crunchy too?
MAC Superglass
U.S. Launch Date: May 6th, 2010
Shattered, decimated, blinded by a fantastic, intergalactic lip light! Just when you thought Dazzleglass was the best-of bright, along comes Superglass, with secret, snowflake-shaped helicone pearls sparkling in three different facets for triple the dazzle! Lips have gone big bang, explosively dimensional, a rare eclipse! Gloss feels slick and sleek on application with no draggy speed bumps, not a hint of grit. A light aroma of vanilla enhances kissability. Extreme innovation that’s a good reflection on MAC and the seductress lucky enough to strike upon it.

Sephora Sale Haul
It took me a little bit of researching to figure out what I wanted, but here's what I got from the Sephora VIB sale. I was running low on my skin care so I decided to try out some new products. Yeah, I'm hoping my skin doesn't hate me for this...
Left to right: Smashbox Photofinish Primer To Go, Dermadoctor Poetry in Lotion, REN Frankincense And Boswellia Serrata Revitalising Night Cream, Philosophy When Hope is Not Enough SPF, Benefit Silky Finish Lipstick Jing-A-Ling
I also received a bonus VIB gift for buying too much crap. I've actually used the Ole Henriksen Three Little Wonders in the past and while I didn't love it, I really liked the Truth Serum (orange bottle). It smoothed my skin and made it glow.
Expect reviews to be coming for the featured products soon. I also bought the Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Eyeshadow Collection but it was a present for a friend.
What did you haul from the sale? Share with me in the comments!

Britney's rocking it un-airbrushed
I love it when a celebrity releases their un-airbrushed pictures. You're expecting them to have hooves and multiple chub rolls but in Britney's pics, that's so not the case.
In Britney's Candie's ad campaign, she agreed to release her unaltered images and girlfriend looks dang good. No wonder she released them. I only wish my booty looked like her unphotoshoped version.

Benefit Jing A Ling LOTD
Gimme a ring a ling, when you want some JING A LING!
Benefit Silky Finish Lipstick in Jing A Ling is a my lips but better kind of shade. It wears very light yellow-pink with a slight gold sheen. Given that it's a silky finish, the lippie itself is very slippery and moisturizing on the lips. It wears about a few hours before I feel I need to reapply it. I love how it looks like a lipstick-gloss hybrid without the sticky feeling of a gloss.

Marshalls- I love me a bargain
I'd seen these N.Y.L.A 'Zinnia 2' sandals at Nordstrom for $44.95.
Oh happy dance, I found them at Marshalls for $24.95 bwahahahaha
I'm boring, I got them in black, but they also carried the bone color as well (not in my size). I also love when they sell my favorite shampoos by Frederic Fekkai for $13 instead of their normal price of $23.
Are you a bargain shopper? What's the best bargain you've ever found? Let me know in the comments!

Chanel Les Pop-Up de Chanel Mini Haul
Every year Chanel puts out one or more coveted nail colors and this year was no exception. When I saw the promo pics I was in love with the teal nail polish, Nouvelle Vague. The pinks? Eh I have many pinks that look like them.
My haul- Nouvelle Vague and Double Perfection Compact in 1.5 Ivory Beige (MAC NW20 equivalent)
Swatch of Nouvelle Vague
I've never tried Chanel's foundation powder before, but the reviews from others have been good. So far, I find it to be extremely close to the Dual Finish Foundation Powder by Lancome but I find it to be a little less powdery looking. Otherwise, It's only been a day of using it so hopefully I'll have a better opinion of it soon.
Nouvelle Vague on the other hand is beautiful. It's creamy in color with a slight gold shimmer to it. I expect this one to sell out quickly (watch how outrageous it will get on Ebay....) It's available at counters now but I haven't seen it online yet.
