MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick, Spring 2011

Here's a new MAC collection called Sheen Supreme Lipstick. To me, it looks like slimshine 2.0. I'm all about glossy lipsticks so hopefully there's something for me! What do you all think?

I'll be updating this thread as I get more info.

MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick, Spring 2011
U.S. Launch Date: March 3rd, 2011

Gloss is good, but there's nothing quite as wonderfully, worldly cinematic as a Lipstick - and they're coming back! We've updated formulas to maked it all plausible. Sheen Supreme is the combination of the strong, sensually saturated colour of, say, Tilda Swinton's I Am Love Milanese Lipstick, leavened with the light feel and clear vibrancy, the see-through sheen of a modern New York City Girl Gloss. Imagine no muddy undertones, gloding in pearl or creme finish, moisturizing with no sticky/tacky feel. It's a new medium, with MAC in the lead. This is retro/modern - and devastatingly chic.

Sheen Supreme Lipstick $14.50 U.S.
•Supremely Confident -Pale nude
•Bare Again -Pinky neutral beige
•Can't Get Enough -Beige natural
•Behave Yourself -Light blue pink
•Gotta Dash! -Pale clean coral
•Full Speed -Bright clean yellow pink
•Insanely It -Watermelon pink
•Ultra Darling -Mid-tone yellow pink
•New Temptation -Vivid blue red
•Quite the Thing! -Deep blue plum
•Impressive -Neutral gilded plum
•Look at Her! -Metallic copper
•Can't Resist -Golden purplish red
•Good to be Bad -Deep burgundy

MAC Cremeblend Blushes, Spring 2011

I never got a chance to play with the cremeblend blushes that came out with Lillyland last year so I'm excited to see this latest collection by MAC, called Cremeblend Blushes, will be all part of their permanent line. Since they discontinued the Blushcremes, these should be their formula replacement. I hear these are lighter and easier to blend than the Blushcremes.

Did you try out the cremeblend blushes when they came out in 2010? Did you like them?

MAC Cremeblend Blushes, Spring 2011
U.S. & Canada Launch Date: March 3rd, 2011
International Launch Date: March 2011

For every contour control freak, for every persistent perfectionist comes this wondrous way to play with blush that gives you the most magnificent flexibility you’ve ever had…Starts creamy, stays creamy and proves once and for all that powder is NOT your only prerogative. You can get back to a new build for that retro “rouge” look Old Hollywood Glamour made modern or stop at subtle and natural; it’s all in your hands. In three aspects, two shades of each: One matched to skin, one for a brighter glow and one darker for cream contouring, it’s perfect for all skin colours, minus the silicone, particularly adept at preventing ashiness on darker complexions. Make powdery a thing of the past.

Cremeblend Blush $18.50 U.S. Permanent
• Brit Wit -Dusty rosy mauve
• Ladyblush -Warm neutral coral
• Posey -Warm peach
• So Sweet, So Easy -Bright yellow pink
• Something Special -Light coral
• Tea Petal -Mid-tone reddish brown

Gettin Older- Birthday FOTD

What you might not have known, it was my birthday recently. I'm a Christmas baby (born 5 days after). I decided to take the day off and go bday shopping with my mom. Sadly, I didn't last all that long at the mall. This preggo couldn't go the distance. Trust me, I tried! The next day made up for it since I found Marcy Marc. I'd been wanting a replacement to my white Marc Jacobs that bit the dust. Note to self white fabric bags don't work for the long haul. I'd gone all of 2010 without buying a purse and here I was on Dec 31st buying one. Funny how that happened.

Anyway, for the daytime, I wanted to do blues to go with my preggo lady shirt. Just my luck, I had recently picked up MAC's Deep Truth. Looking at these pics all small, it just looks like I did all silver but I promise you there's some blue in there.

MAC Peacocky Haul and Swatches

Hi everyone! Poor Katie, she has to endure another MAC post ;-) Anyway, I hauled away at the MAC Peacocky collection yesterday. Ok so I didn't go all out with this one. The eyeshadows were $19.50 each... pass. I also picked up a couple of other things I'd been meaning to get.

Left to right: Prance and Dalliance Eyeshadow

Left to right: Prance and Dalliance Eyeshadow

Both Prance and Dalliance swatch on me without fallout. I'd experienced some fallout with a couple of the shadows I didn't buy when I swatched in the store. Prance is a frosted mauve pearl. It's close in color to shale but lighter and frostier. Dalliance is a light golden/green pewter color. I can't think of any permanent colors this guy resembles.

I also picked up Nocturnal and Satellite Dreams. Love me some purple!

MAC Pressed Blot Powder in Medium. This runs a little on the lighter side.
After reading Karen's blog, I knew I had to pick up MAC Blot. Hope it's awesome!

Did you end up getting anything from this collection? Let me know in the comments!

Disclosure: I bought everything featured.

MAC Finally Flawless, Spring 2011

I must apologize to my friend Katie. She's sick of these MAC posts. But whateva! Here's another launch, MAC's Finally Flawless. This is a permanent product but it's been reformulated for this relaunch.

MAC Finally Flawless, Spring 2011
U.S. Launch Date: January 13th, 2010

Mineralize Foundation SPF 15 has the exclusive formula – micronized and coated pigments improve blendability, maintain colour purity with SPF 15, and our liquid mineral ferment complex adds nutrients. Light diffusing optics minimize the visibility of imperfections – FINALLY Flawless!

Mineralize Foundation SPF 15 $32.00 U.S.
Minerals are the foundation for all living things. The human body is made of approximately 60% water and skin is approximately 70% water. By fusing minerals and water, Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation is the synthesis of earthly essential elements in the form of a rich, luxurious solid cream compact with a liquid mineral infusion. This uniquely textured, medium buildable, foundation delivers immediate hydration while revitalizing the look of dull and dry skin. Used backstage during the Spring/Summer 2010 fashion shows of; BCBG, Carolina Herrera and Baby Phat, it is both a makeup artists dream and a real woman’s skin saving grace.

Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation features an innovative gel based system that provides extreme comfort and creaminess in application, making this formula appealing to all skins but especially normal to dry. The gel fuses the formula’s high water content (30.5%) with the polymers and coated pigments for the ultimate in silky smooth, yet long wearing (up to 8 hours), colour payoff. Because of the immediate moisturization benefits, Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation also helps to immediately reduce the appearance of pores and provides skin with a non-sticky, cooling break.

Additionally, a blend of lightweight oils creates a creamy, comfortable feeling on the skin. The innovative wax-free structure helps moisturize skin, while light diffusing optics help minimize the visibility of pores and imperfections for a flawless looking complexion

Available in: NC15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 37, 40, 42, 44, 45, 50, 55; NW15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 43, 45, 47, 50, 55.

I can't wait for the Surf Baby collection! The summer collections are usually my favorites. The packaging of the Wonder Woman collection is cute. I'm also intrigued by the peachy bronze color Lady Gaga seems to be wearing for the Viva Glam Gaga 2 Collection.

What do you all think?
