Love and Pixie Dust- MAC Digi-Pop: Glaringly Hip Lip Swatches

MAC's Digi-Pop collection launched today exclusively for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I only picked up Glaringly Hip dazzle lipstick during the presale in June. I wasn't too keen on these little glitter bombs, but I thought this one would look good over other lipsticks. The Dazzle Lipsticks from this collection reminds me of the lipgelee's from the MAC in Lillyland collection in lipstick form.

You can see swatches from this collection here. Although they look glossy in the swatches, they feel a little dry on the lips. They look like you'd be able to feel the glitter on your lips but I couldn't.

MAC's Digi-Pop collection hasn't launched yet, but I was able to get swatches of a few of the lippies during the presale at Nordstrom.

I wasn't the most excited about this launch; however, everything is much prettier in person. I only bought Glaringly Hip because, let's face it, how many glitter lippies do I need to own? These remind me a lot of the MAC in Lillyland collection Lipgelee's. In fact the glitter in Glaringly Hip is about the same color as Resort Life. The good news about this collection, you can't feel the glitter on your lips :) Good luck getting every trace of glitter off your face though.

MAC Digi-Pops Displays

I was lucky to get into Nordies to get my presale on with MAC's Digi-Pops Collection. I'll post my swatches later but here's some pics I snapped with my IPhone of the displays. BTW these lippies are GLITTER BOMBS. I couldn't feel the glitter on my lips but danngggggggggg, looked like I hooked up with a fairy. One hot MAC fairy.

MAC Digi-Pops Collection Summer 2010 (Nordstrom Exclusive)

After seeing other upcoming collections from MAC, I'm not that excited about this collection. I might pick up a lippie or two after seeing them in person but I'll probably save up for In the Groove instead. Are you planning on hauling anything from this collection? Let me know in the comments!
